Halloween '08
Every year downtown Kent has their annual Halloween shin-dig and every year my friends and I dress up and hit the town...this year was no different. The only thing that was different was Chris wasn't able to come since he left again Friday. :-(
It was a fun night spent with good friends, plus it's always fun to see every one's costumes!
Hope you enjoy the video....

Only 2 Days.....
As I've stated in a previous post, Chris's schedule has been crazy. Well, I'm pleased to report....2 more weeks are down! In the next 1/2 hour Chris will once again return home! :-)
It's weird, cause even though he's been gone the last several times for 2 weeks at a time, it seems each time he goes he's gone longer then the previous time. I'm so excited to see him, I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning. We don't really have anything planned since I still have to go to work during the day. But we do plan on spending the next couple evenings together and enjoy every minute we have. Chris will be leaving again Friday morning for another 2 weeks!
I'm hoping the next 2 weeks doesn't feel like 2 months...but they always do!

Annual Halloween Bash!
Last night marked the 5th year! A friend throws a Halloween party every year, I've only been to one other and it was a few years ago. This year, I attended with a couple of my girlfriends. With Chris out of town, they are really doing a great job by keeping me occupied! The party was great! I got to catch up with a few people I don't get to see very often and have a blast with the people I do!
Here are some pictures from the event...stay tuned for one busy Halloween filled next weekend!!

Happy 30th Birthday Jen!!!
I wanted to wish my sister the happiest birthday yet to come! She reached a milestone today and turned the big 3-0!!! She defiantly deserves the best and I'm pretty sure this year will be pretty unforgettable. Tomorrow morning her and Kevin are leaving for Las Vegas...her first trip out there! What a great birthday present Kev, you did a great job! You guys have a blast and for 5 days have no worries! We love you and I wish you a VERY HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY! :-)

Running out of Time....
A lot of people have been asking, "what's Chris's schedule exactly"? Well, some people may say that I'm lucky I can keep it all straight. So here it goes for those of you that may need to get in a visit, a phone call, an email or for those of you that just want to know!
Chris left this morning and will be gone for 2 weeks (up near Sandusky, Oh). He'll be home for 2 days and then leaves again for another 2 weeks (Ravenna, Oh). The thing that sucks about these weeks, is the fact that he's not that far from home and I can't see him! :-(
He then comes home the first weekend in November and will be home & off for a week! On November 10Th, his unit is having a 'farewell' ceremony that all the families can attend. He then leaves from there and goes to Ft. Dix in New Jersey. He will be there for approximately 5-6 weeks. He'll return right before Christmas and spend the holidays here at home. As of right now they are scheduled to return to Ft. Dix either January 1st or 2ND.
From there he leaves to go to Iraq!
So, as you can see, we have a very hectic several months ahead of us. I figured between all the coming and going, we have about 3 weeks in the next 2 1/2 months to spend together.
Now you all know why we're not taking one day for granted!

Chris's Going Away Party!
As you all know, starting Monday, Chris will have a very hectic next several months. With is constant coming and going, it was hard to plan a party for him. So we decided to have close family and friends gather at a local bar & grill last night. With such short notice, we had a great turn out. It was a lot of fun and I'm very thankful that people were able to come and wish Chris their best. I know it meant a lot to Chris to have his 'buddies' show their support and love for him! Thanks everyone...it was a great time! :-)
