Spring Clean-Up!!

When Chris and I bought our house, we had some 'debris' we couldn't wait to get rid of along our driveway. Well, over the last few years it was just one of those 'big' jobs that never got done. I told Chris this year it's getting done! We have a family friend that has a tree removal company. So this past weekend he and his team came over and removed all of the 'ugliness' as I like to call it. I can't believe how much better it looks and I even think it makes the back yard look bigger.

What a great start to the many jobs we want done this year!! :)

Debris along top part of the driveway!

More debris....notice how it's all dead, it stays like that all year!

This is the devil of vines! These vines were intertwined through the fence!

One of the trees that was growing through the fence

The removal began....

One part done!

Finishing off one of the trees!

He did awesome taking these down!!

Top part complete!

No ugliness anymore!! :)

The finished product...all the way up the driveway!

* We also had some big limbs removed from the bigger oak trees that were hanging onto the roof of the house and the garage. There also was a limb hanging onto one of the electrical wires that he removed!

I'm so happy with the outcome...it really does make a world of difference! :)

Another Month Down!!

Yesterday was the end of my second month of school! This month was a little more changeling as I had two classes. With working from 5:30am to 8am, then going to school from 9am-4pm, keeping up with the gym at least 5 days, and then working again from 6:30pm-9pm...it definitely made for a long and BUSY day! This month was Psychology and Computers. Psychology I found very interesting, which I always have. We had a test, a mid-term, a 4 page paper, and a final! Computers I found very easy, it basically was typing (which I'm good at), PowerPoint's, Word, Excel, Outlines, and of course, quizzes, tests, and another paper! With all that, I'm proud to report that I still managed to finish both classes with A's!!!

Due to the end of the semester, I'm now on break for the next 9 days! April 6Th starts Anatomy...wish me luck! :)

It's Been Too Long!!

As most of you know, a couple of years ago one of my closest friends moved down South. Well, over the last year or so we haven't got to see each other much, let alone hang out. So a couple of weeks ago, Krissy and Blake came into town for her Step-Mom's birthday, also coming to Ohio for a visit was Krissy's brother Dave, fiancee Kim, and new baby boy Greyson!
Not only have I not seen the North Carolina clan for a long time, I also haven't seen her parent's and friends for over a year! It was such a great time catching up with everyone, I hope another year doesn't go by till I see everyone again!

Kent State!

Last weekend, the family and I went to Kent State to not only enjoy the basketball game, but to support Jennifer. Jennifer put together a great night for alumni, staff, family and friends. We all got to watch the game from the Loge, enjoy dinner, and try our luck in a raffle. It was a great event and a good time. Not to mention it was an awesome game...and Kent won! Good job Jennifer! :-)

The centerpieces on the tables! (Bella liked all the candy)

Front row seats in the Loge!

The Blimp that flew around the arena!
